Testimonials
Dear Mr. James:
My name is Judy Rabalais and I am the happiest person on this planet. Why?
Well, on Wednesday February 4th, my Franklin "dream home" was delivered. I
bought it through Chris Tabor at Gulf Coast Homes, whom I can’t say enough
about. He was my guardian angel through the whole process.
This "Paradise" is the answer to my prayers and the beginning of a new and
better life. I am a 64 year old widow who lost everything in Katrina '05
and the Murphy Oil Spill. For 3 1/2 years, I have lived in run down motels
and a FEMA trailer, all the while feeling as if I had no future and no past.
I didn't know what to do next to get out of limbo. Basic needs were provided
by Red Cross and church organizations. That is a humbling experience when
one is used to caring for oneself. After a while, all my possessions fit
in cardboard boxes and plastic bins.
I don't want pity because this disaster made me stronger and gave me the wits
and will to survive and thrive. If the good lord didn't take me, tha's my
reason to live.
The breathtaking scene of that house coming down the road, made me cry tears
of relief and joy. Finally, my "Paradise" has come and I'm home at last. This
rough journey is over and the adventure is beginning. I can’t thank you enough
for building the most beautiful modular I have ever seen.
I will continue to sing you praises. The quality, features, materials and
workmanship are unsurpassed. When I leave this home it will be in a pine box.
Until then, I'm happy to live in Paradise: my Franklin Home, all the rest of
my days.
Again, thanks to you and all of your employees for a magnificent home.
I pray that these tough economic times don’t affect you too severely and you can
continue your work.
With best regards to all,
Sincerely
Judy L. Rabalais

P.S. If you're ever in the Breaux Bridge let me know and I'll cook you a Cajun
seafood gumbo. (As the saying goes, "its so good you’ll want to slap your mama")
A homeowner in East TN said he keeps his thermostat on 68 in the summer, 72 in winter.
He has four children and his power bill averages $130.00 per month. The highest bill that
he has ever had was $220.00 and he had relatives visiting and had 17 people in the home
and in a travel trailer that was hooked up to his power. Stated he tells everyone about
this.
His brother has a Clayton of comparable size and he opens windows in summer and does
everything he can to keep his power bill from being so high.
Dear Sirs,
We were requested by Franklin Homes to make a list of everything that needs repair for
our new home after approximately 60 days of our living in (ENJOYING) it.
Finishers left right before Thanksgiving and we moved in the 2nd week of December. So
our list is the following faxed pages.
The last two weekends of hunting season, we had a realtor from Mobile to stay with us
for deer hunting. He is not happy with his contractor and we’ve suggested that Franklin
Homes may be an answer to his dilemma. We wanted him to experience a Franklin Home first
hand and he was quite impressed. We want to assure him that Franklin stands behind their
homes and their quality.
We are so happy with our home and only have a few repairs that need to be taken care of.
Thank you so much and our experience with Gwinna Boyd at Jasper Homes and with your
facility was a pleasant one!
We hope this finds bill doing much better and please let him know we’re thinking about
him and praying for him
Sincerely,
Larry & Coline Sheffield
